2026-06-30 - Feature Entitlements & Device Plans

signageOS is rolling out a new Feature Entitlements system that gives you clearer visibility into what is included in your plan — and what is available as an upgrade.

What is Changing​

  • Your organization's Device Plan is now clearly displayed in Box under Company settings → Plans, replacing the old subscription type labels.
  • Certain features across the platform will now show a 👑 crown icon, indicating they are part of a higher-tier plan or an add-on package.
  • This applies to both existing and newly released features, so you may notice the crown appearing on capabilities you have not seen gated before.

What Does the 👑 Mean for You?​

The crown signals that a feature is available but not currently included in your active plan. You can still see it, understand what it does, and decide if it is something your team needs.

There is no change to the features already included in your plan — the crown is purely informational, helping you discover what more signageOS can do.
