RJ45 enforcement on first launch

Enforcement of RJ45​

During initial CoreApp start on Tizen the communication protocol is changed from RS232 to RJ45. This change is to enable extensive additional control and monitoring and is used to enable Peer-to-peer Recovery, Auto recovery and sos.native.mdc() JS API.

Reverting to RS232​

After the application is launched for the first time on the display, navigate to Home -> Display ID -> Connection Type and make sure the RS232 is selected.

Tradeoff​

  • Disable sos.native.mdc() on Tizen devices to send custom MDC commands
  • Disable Auto-recovery
  • Disable Peer-to-peer recovery
